Snowboarding sport coming of age in NZ - Pamela Bell

Carlos Garcia Knight has showed the world that New Zealand snowboarders can foot it with the world's best. Knight finished fifth after initially leading the final of the slopestyle event in Peongchang. But New Zealand's medal hopes are still alive with 16-year-old Zoi Sadowski-Synnott competing in the women's slopestyle.

Sadowski-Synnott already has a World Championships silver medal and a World Cup gold medal in the event. With more on how our snowboarders are faring we're joined by Pamela Bell who 20 years ago became the first New Zealander to compete in the sport at the Olympics.
