New budgeting service fails to meet budget goals

Official figures show a controversial new way of providing budgeting advice is failing to meet its targets. More than sixty long established budgeting services lost their government contracts in 2016 and were replaced by a new programme dubbed 'building financial capability'. RNZ social issues reporter Sarah Robson has been given official figures showing how the new providers performed in their first four months.
