Mathematician accuses university of discrimination, loses case

A self-described mathematical genius who accused the University of Canterbury of discrimination has had her claim struck out. Dr Gabriella Popa complained to the Human Rights Commission in 2015, stating the University had consistently refused to employ her. She alleged unlawful discrimination on the grounds of race, colour and ethnic and national origins. RNZ reporter Sally Murphy joins Guyon Espiner with the details.
