Unconscious teen rescued from sunken Kiribati ferry
An unconscious teen is one of the eight people from a missing Kiribati ferry found after drifting in a dinghy in the Pacific for a week. An RNZAF Orion spotted the dinghy 300km south-east of Nauru and a fishing boat was sent to pick the passengers up. The search for the ferry which was carrying 50 people on what was meant to be a two day trip will resume at first light this morning. The Defence Force's Air Commodore, Darryn Webb, joins Susie Ferguson with the details.
