Ohakea water contamination - Rangitikei MP Ian McKelvie

We've been reporting this morning on the confirmation that toxic chemicals from air force firefighting foam has leached into the water supply of surrounding properties. Seven properties near the Ohakea and Woodbourne bases have been found to have levels above the recommended guidelines. Three of those properties use the water for the household supply. One of them, near the Ohakea base, is owned by the family of the former Manawatu mayor and now the National MP for Rangitikei, Ian McKelvie. He discusses the issues with Susie Ferguson.
