Airbnb says Kiwis don't want accommodation limits

Airbnb has gone on the offensive as councils look to clamp down on home-sharing services. Many regions are struggling with skyrocketing rental prices due to a lack of housing stock and have begun investigating caps or bans on short-term rentals. Airbnb has now published survey findings which it claims shows New Zealanders overwhelmingly oppose those sort of policies. Airbnb's head of Public Policy Australia and New Zealand Brent Thomas says no one wants more red tape in their lives.
