Airbnb tensions spread from Barcelona to Queenstown

As cities around the world clamp down on home-sharing services, Airbnb is fighting against moves to do the same in New Zealand. Queenstown Lakes Council wants to restrict short term rentals in the town over concerns they are damaging communities and driving up rent prices and house prices. New York Times' Spain correspondent Raphael Minder has been reporting on the problems Barcelona has had with Airbnb, and tells Guyon what effect restrictions have had there.
