Germany coalition talks: Merkel faces hurdles to form govt

German political party the Social Democrats have given the go-ahead for coalition talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrats. It comes after months of uncertainty following elections in September 2017, when there was no overall majority for any party. Correspondent in Bonn Thomas Sparrow tells us it's been a major breakthrough, but Ms Merkel still faces hurdles to form a government.
