America's Cup: Wynyard wharf option still possible

From Morning Report, 6:14 am on 23 January 2018

Auckland Council and government officials are meeting to look again at whether an alternative plan for the America's Cup village is feasible. They'll talk to a fuel storage company that has agreed to shift out of the way of the government's preferred village layout - but the real cost of that is unclear. Auckland Mayor Phil Goff says there's not much time left to settle on a way forward, but he's happy for the government to take a closer look at the the alternative based more on Wynyard Point.
