Medicinal cannabis: Hikurangi hemp prepares for manufacture

The Government has opened the door to a medical marijuana industry being established in New Zealand. One of the provisions in the bill tabled on Wednesday allows for the growing of cannabis in New Zealand for medicinal purposes. Cannabis is being grown here already by the Ruatoria-based company Hikurangi Hemp, as part of a medical research project. Hikurangi Hemp's director is Manu Caddie. He explains their plans to us.
