A trip to Asia to get a cheap operation that cost a man his life is being held up as a warning to New Zealanders looking for cut-price surgery. A coroner's investigation has faulted the standard of care the Melbourne man received. That's sparked a call for a clampdown on medical tourism on both sides of the Tasman.
