110km/h in force on two North Island highways

Higher speed limits of 110km/h are now in effect on two major North Island roads. The two roads - the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road on State Highway 2 and the Cambridge section of the Waikato Expressway on State Highway 1 - were chosen because they're the safest in the country. RNZ reporter Laura Tupou just drove the Waikato section and tells us it felt like you owned the road.
