LA wildfires: Hundreds of thousands flee

Hundreds of thousands of people have fled their homes in Southern California as massive wildfires rip through the south of the state. The fires have already caused massive damage in Ventura, just north of Los Angeles. LA itself is covered in a thick layer of smoke for more than 24 hours as flames start to move closer to the city.
