Three Gisborne iwi will soon be given a window into their past, with historic audio from hui, wānanga and iwi events set to play on the local iwi radio station, Tūranga FM.
Ngā Taonga Sound and Vision collected and processed 300 hours of historic audio for the station as part of a nationwide project to protect and preserve records of Te Reo Maori by the country's 21 iwi radio stations. Anei te purongo o te kairipoata no Te Manu Korihi ko Te Aniwa Hurihanganui.
