Report on 'struggling' Health Ministry no surprise - doctors
A scathing report by the State Services Commission yesterday into the health ministry has come as no surprise to doctors. The scorecard rates the Ministry's financial sustainability, leadership and management as 'weak'. On Monday the Ministry's director-general Chai Chuah announced his resignation and on Tuesday, the Health Minister, David Clark said he was appointing a new group outside the ministry to advise him. Mr Clark says the State Services Commission report highlights a ministry which is really struggling.
