Drinking water may be chlorinated across NZ

From Morning Report, 7:23 am on 7 December 2017

Hundred of thousands of people may be forced to have their water chlorinated after a hard-hitting report said they are at risk of getting sick. The Government inquiry into Havelock North's drinking water published its second and final report yesterday. Thousands of people in the Hawke's Bay town fell ill during a gastric outbreak last year caused by campylobacter in the water. Now the inquiry is warning many more people are at risk and is recommending the mandatory treatment of all water supplies.
