Roxburgh faces major clean-up after flash floods

The people of Roxburgh in Central Otago are hoping rains forecast for this afternoon don't eventuate after the town was inundated on Sunday night. The flash flooding damaged a major water pipe and drained the reservoir, cutting the water supply to the town. Some streets were left strewn with rocks, silt and debris. Roxburgh resident Becky Slade describes the scene to us.
