Ngai Tahu celebrates 20th anniversary of settlement

It's the 20th anniversary this week of Ngai Tahu signing its treaty settlement - which at the time was worth $170 million. Today, Ngai Tahu's commercial portfolio is valued at more than $1.3 billion and has grown into areas such as tourism, farming, property developent and investment.
