Uber privacy breach hits 57 million, NZers included

Ride sharing company Uber took one year to alert the Privacy Commission of a breach of New Zealand customer's security. It emerged on Wednesday the ride-sharing service concealed a breach last year that affected 57 million customers and drivers worldwide. It is not clear how many New Zealanders were affected. The Privacy Commissioner John Edwards told Morning Report what he knows about the breach so far.
