Zimbabwe takeover: Tsvangirai calls for Mugabe to step aside

South African government ministers are in Zimbabwe for crisis talks with ousted President Robert Mugabe and military leaders who have seized control of the country. They are trying to reach a deal on the future of the African nation Mr Mugabe has led since independence 37 years ago. Zimbabwe opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has also arrived back in the country and is calling for Mr Mugabe to step aside. Eddie Cross is an MP in Zimbabwe with Mr Tsvangirai's MDC party, Movement for Democratic Change. He tells us despite its denials, the army has staged a coup - but not to install military rule.
