A lawyer is calling for an independent investigation into whether a child murderer was unfairly punished by staff at Rimutaka Prison in Upper Hutt. Convicted child murderer Hayden Wallace lost his prison job over what an investigation calls an "unhealthy relationship" with a woman officer. But the inmate, Hayden Wallace, says he's being punished because he saw the woman kissing and carrying on with a manager on the job. Phil Pennington joins us with the details.
