Refugee sex offender's release raises alarm bells

From Morning Report, 7:29 am on 10 November 2017

Somalis living in Wellington are worried a man with a long history of sexual offending is being allowed to walk free from a psychiatric hospital, with someone who knows him well calling him a ticking time bomb. Mohyadin Farah, who came to New Zealand as a refugee, was charged with rape and assault in 2015 but was found unfit to stand trial. He's spent the past two years as a special patient and when his case was back before the District Court this week, the judge dismissed all charges.
