Back now to our lead story, increasing tensions in south Auckland between Samoans and Tongan communties. Two hundred people were involved in a brawl in a carpark in Otara last night. Police Superintendent Sandra Manderson told us the behaviour is completely unacceptable. Police and community leaders met last night to discuuss the growing problem. Melino Maka is chair of the Tongan Advisory Council and was at the meeting. He tells us social media was a big problem behind the fights.
