Ardern to meet Turnbull as Manus detainees beg for help

Refugees on Manus Island are begging Jacinda Ardern to allow them to come to New Zealand, saying she's their last hope. The Prime Minister is set to meet her Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull in Sydney on Sunday and the crisis in Papua New Guinea will be high on the agenda. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees weighed in yesterday calling on on Australia to act immediately to stop what he called an "unfolding humanitarian emergency".
