US politicians still seeking answers over Niger deaths

The deaths of four American soldiers in Niger early last month in an ambush has prompted questions about what the US is doing in the central African country. The fallout from the incident also includes an unseemly public argument between President Donald Trump and the widow of one of the soldiers, Sergeant La David Johnson. Now, as contradictory accounts about elements of the ambush are trickling out, frustrated members of Congress are demanding answers about how a shadowy mission in a remote region of Africa ended so calamitously. Eric Schmitt of the New York Times has been looking into the United States activities in Niger and joins us now.
