Timaru residents see red over log burner ban

Canterbury Regional Council have been warned they face stiff resistance in Timaru over replacing newly banned log burners. The Canterbury Air Plan comes into force today in a bid to tackle air pollution, and includes a ban on all burners older than 15 years in Timaru.
