Catalan leaders flee Spain as Madrid announces sedition charges
Former Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont has fled Spain with other members of the Catalan Government as Spain confirmed it will bring rebellion and sedition charges against the group. Mr Puigdemont was sacked by Madrid on Friday and is understood to have travelled to Brussels where the Government has said he may apply for political asylum.
