Thousands of green-thumbed people have descended on Taranaki this week for one of the country's longest-running garden festivals.
The Taranaki Garden Spectacular - which began life as a community-run rhododendron event in the 1980s - is celebrating its 30th anniversary and now attracts visitors from around the globe.
