Disabled Fijian's deportation on hold - Immigration Minister

An intellectually disabled Fijian man Sagar Narayan who was due to be deported today will be allowed to stay - for the time being at least. New Immigration Minister Iain Lees Galloway confirmed last night the twenty-year-old would be allowed to stay until the new Government has had a chance to consider his residency application again. Mr Lees-Galloway explained to RNZ reporter Tom Furley how Sagar's case will proceed from here.
