Water charging considered for Christchurch

Christchurch householders could soon be charged by their council for the water they use. Six councils including Auckland ask for a contribution depending on how much water people use with this credited with bringing down the use of this often scarce resource by as much as 30 percent. So what sort of appetite would there be in the garden city for such a move. RNZ's Conan Young headed down to a garden centre to find out.
