Transsexual woman gets residence after years of abuse

A transsexual woman from the UK has been granted residence in New Zealand on humanitarian grounds after suffering years of abuse and violence in Britain. At least 40 people have been granted refugee status in New Zealand because of their sexual and gender orientation.
