Transport Agency downplaying airbag threat - Motor Industry

Car companies who are fed up at inaction over airbags that can kill people are pressuring authorities to force thousands of owners to get them fixed. Half of the 140,000 vehicle owners so far invited to get free repairs to their Takata airbags, have ignored the requests. The Motor Industry Association is calling for drivers to be denied a Warrant of Fitness if they don't get the airbags replaced. But the Transport Agency doesn't agree. MIA chief executive David Crawford joins us to discuss the issue.
