The main rail union is warning of a return to old style industrial strife after its members rejected an employment contract offer for the Wellington commuter train service. But the company that made the offer, Transdev, doesn't think this will happen. Wellington Regional Council, which oversees the rail service, is taking a hands-off approach, unless it becomes a crisis.
