Election 2017: Wait for special votes nearly over

Tomorrow's eagerly awaited special vote tally will kick New Zealand First's coalition talks with National and Labour up a gear. A fortnight on from the election, the final result will be known on Saturday afternoon, after counting of the more than 380,000 special votes is complete. On Thursday Winston Peters' met with both Bill English and Jacinda Ardern but stressed he's still not ready for serious negotiations until after the special votes are in.
