From Morning Report, 8:25 am on 3 October 2017

At least 58 people died, and more than 500 were wounded, in what is the worst mass shooting by a lone gunman in US history. The gunman, named by police as the 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire from his 32nd floor hotel room window in Las Vegas.

New Zealander Ben Northrop was in Vegas for a conference and tells us it was a sleepless night and very eerie walking back to his hotel through an empty casino.
