Scores injured in violence over Barcelona independence vote
Hundreds are reportedly injured in Barcelona after Spanish national police used force to try halt Catalonia's independence referendum. Dozens of polling booths have been closed, but others are defiantly staying open in a bid to resist the central government's declaration forbidding the referendum. New York Times Spain correspondent Raphael Minder explains to us what's happening.
