Life-threatening building faults revealed by leading surveyor

A leading building surveyor has revealed details of hidden and sometimes life-threatening faults on buildings, including a Wellington apartment block not bolted to its foundations. Thomas Wutzler has also inspected apartment blocks in Auckland with walls so rotten someone could fall through them. Mr Wutzler, who runs the Wellington firm Helfen which specialises in leaky building inspections, has spoken up saying he's disturbed at what it will take to bring about change.
