English cuts ACT adrift, pursues NZ First

Coalition negotiations are not even under way and already the National Party leader, Bill English, has made a shock decision - Act will not be part of the next government if he returns as Prime Minister. Mr English told reporters yesterday he wants a coalition deal with New Zealand First and that leaves no room for National's traditional support party.
