The controversial Foreshore and Seabed Act has made its way into this year's election campaign, with Labour leader Jacinda Ardern saying she wouldn't have done it.
Māori Party co-leader, Marama Fox, says Helen Clark never made an apology for the Foreshore and Seabed Act, and Labour is showing a similar argument in it's discussion of water rights. She says the Māori Party could join a Labour-led government, but they would be wary of having the rug pulled out from under their feet, when it comes to popular votes.
"I absolutely believe our people are leaning towards a Labour-Greens-Māori coalition and we would be happy to form a Government in that way."
