National's proposed sweeping new police powers 'dangerous'

The National Party says it will give police sweeping new powers to search the houses of the most serious criminal gang members at any time for guns. The policy announced by the police spokesperson, Paula Bennett, yesterday is being seen by some as a dangerous attack on human rights.
