National Party leader Bill English joins Guyon Espiner for an extended interview in the first of Morning Report's special interview series with the leaders of New Zealand's major parties ahead of the election.

He discussed the idea of abolishing Māori seats, poverty, homelessness, his housing allowance, climate change and marriage equality.
