Police have arrested Rollie James Heke after a two-week nationwide manhunt. It came after a shootout with police in the Waikato town of Morrinsville early in August.
Superintendent Bruce Bird tells us police got information on Heke's whereabouts, the armed offenders squad surrounded the house and called him out at 1:30am.
"Upon his arrest he was quite compliant... resigned."
