Team New Zealand won Race 7 - today's third and final race in Bermuda - to seal their place in the final.

They'll meet either Sweden's Artemis or Dean Barker's Team Japan. Japan and Artemis are tied three races all, with one race remaining today.

New Zealand helmsman Peter Burling won the first encounter of the day with the team back on the water after a near-catastrophic capsize during racing in high winds on Tuesday.

The New Zealanders had to overcome a daggerboard problem in the leadup to the first race.

BAR sailed a near-perfect race in the second clash, holding off a New Zealand challenge as his crew finally managed to match their opponents for speed.

In the last race of the day, Team New Zealand led from start to finish, winning by 46 seconds.
