Manukau housing plan collapses after council pulls the plug

The New Zealand Housing Foundation says the Auckland Council's property arm has pulled the plug on it's Panuku Development which planned to build more than 200 houses in Manukau, leaving the region's biggest community housing developer with nine months of wasted work and tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket.
