Water report finds fault with council's readiness and response

An official investigation into the campylobacter outbreak has criticised both the Hastings District Council and Hawke's Bay Regional Council for failing to safeguard the town's drinking water. There are renewed calls for accountability for the outbreak. Hastings mayor Lawrence Yule says they're doing everything they've been asked to do so that it can't happen again.
