Inquiry into complaint Fletcher Building sold substandard steel

The Commerce Commission is investigating a complaint Fletcher Building sold substandard steel. The type of steel is among the most widely used in construction, and also for things such as towbars. Fletcher says it's confident the steel meets New Zealand standards, and it is cooperating with the inquiry.
