Police say they are very confident the car pulled from Nelson's harbour last night belonged to a teenager who disappeared seven years ago.
Leo Lipp-Neighbours, then 19, was last seen in 2010 driving a a bright orange Toyota Corolla station wagon.
Police will today examine the car they pulled from Nelson's harbour, which they believe belonged to Mr Lipp Neighbours, who went missing seven years ago.
The car was pulled from the water just after 7pm last night, and was lifted by crane from a boat to the wharf.
Nelson Bays police area commander Inspector Matt Arnold-Kelly told Morning Report it was a delicate procedure to recover the vehicle and evidence within it.
