Court ruling on murderer's toupee called 'absurd decision'

From Morning Report, 7:25 am on 17 March 2017

The Sensible Sentencing Trust has criticised a High Court ruling that the Corrections Department breached the rights of convicted murderer Phillip John Smith by not letting him wear a toupee behind bars.

"It's one of the most absurd decisions to ever be handed down by a judge in New Zealand."

But Smith's lawyer Tony Ellis told Morning Report why he disagrees.
