Life in Syria... six years on

Six years ago today, 200 young protesters took to the streets in Syria's capital, Damascus, to protest against President Bashar al-Assad's regime, kicking off a conflict that has left almost half a million people dead. "Things don't seem to be changing or improving. In fact, things in Syria seeming to be getting worse, particularly for women and children," says Dr Chris Latif, World Vision's Response Manager for Northern Syria and Turkey.
