New attempt to tackle easily avoidable fuel woes in planes

Official figures show forty percent of engine failures in light planes and helicopters are caused by pilots using contaminated or stale fuel, or because they simply ran out. The Civil Aviation Authority is beginning a series of 32 seminars around the country to make sure pilots take steps to avoid potential disasters.
